My approach to Chemistry teaching focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than memorizing isolated facts and formulas. I connect Chemistry with everyday life, experiments and real-world applications while helping students develop problem-solving skills, confidence and effective examination strategies. I created HK Science Quest to bring together useful Chemistry and science learning resources for students, teachers and science enthusiasts.

“Learning begins with a question. My role is to help students ask better questions and think their way to understanding.”
I believe Science should be simple, meaningful, and connected to everyday life. My aim is to help students see Science not as a subject to memorise, but as a way to understand the world around them.
I encourage students to Question → Explore → Understand → Apply. Through real-life examples, practical learning, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry, I help students develop curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in applying scientific knowledge.
I believe every student can succeed when we understand how they learn. By recognising individual needs, listening to students, and adapting my teaching, I strive to create an inclusive learning environment where every learner can participate, progress, and achieve.
My goal is simple: make Science easy to understand, meaningful to learn, and useful in life.
